'Everything in Moderation'

Everything in moderation, as my mother always said, is a good rule to live by. However, some things are simply beyond our control, no matter how hard we try. Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, reminding us that balance sometimes means accepting what we cannot change.

Vermont missed the Nor’easter this past week. I feel for the struggles of people hit hard by the recent severe weather. Vermont is experiencing a cold winter and much snow, but very bearable. In fact, the landscape is beautiful - a frozen Lake Champlain, the Adirondack, the Green mountains, and rural views.
