Winter Freeze

The last freeze-over on Lake Champlain was 2019. It has been cold. I pulled out the bombardier jacket a record number of times this year. It is only the middle of February so I may add to the record. I only pull it out if the temp is 15 degrees or colder. I don’t expect to cross the ice to New York anytime soon. Instead, I am thinking about a journey to Florida next year. Being a four-season person, I will most likely miss the snow and ice, but I will take the risk - at least one time!

The ice and snow on the Lake make for fun imaging. I look forward to the views as the snow and Ice melt. In the meantime I enjoy the present.
