Walnut Way Wonder
/The last few months I have been walking, meditating, photographing, wondering, along the sixty Black Walnut trees I planted on the rolling hills of our precious Purple Lark Farm in the foothills of the Green Mountains. I call the maze, through the natural habitat, Walnut Way. The time along the Way is a more meaningful day starter than I could ever have imagined. I believe the awe of it comes from being in nature, with my maturing Walnut trees, repeating my new Mantra - LORD, as us, is LOVE, seeing beauty to capture, and praying that I may live LOVES Will.
I wonder if the trees are talking to me - silent and accepting what is. Their aliveness is particularly evident with Season change and growth spurts. They each are the same, but unique. Some yield a lot of walnuts, some none. Some are small. Some are tall. Some leaves drop early. Some leaves still green. They connect and talk, beneath the surface. They support each other. They know comparisons are odious. They know success is the realization of all they are able to give.
